Welcome

Dear friends,
We are privileged to welcome you back to London for the Queen Square Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium (QuINS). With the support of the national and international INR community, we plan to spend two days learning how to tackle complex neurovascular cases through a combination of talks, hands-on workshops and stimulating debates. Due to the success of previous meetings, our faculty has expanded with representation from all corners of the world which will allow us to deliver a programme by a group of truly exceptional operators. As always, this is strictly an in-person meeting only as we look to cultivate the energy in the room and nurture a ‘safe space’ discussion and debate around challenging subject matters including learning from procedural complications.
We will cover a range of topics ranging from complex AV shunts, advances in cerebral aneurysm treatments and approaches to challenging ischemic cases. A few of the highlights will include René Chapot (Essen) and Alberto Gil (Santander) educating us on developments in trans arterial and trans venous AVM treatment. Mayank Goyal (Calgary) and Tudor Jovin (New Jersey) will guide us through the latest ischemic stroke trials and how they will influence delivery of mechanical thrombectomy services. It is with our greatest pleasure to welcome the esteemed Alex Berenstein who will be joining us from New York to deliver a plenary lecture.
For the first time, this year we will be running a hands-on vendor neutral ‘intrasaccular school’ with the help of our dear friends Vincent Costalat (Montpellier) and Monica Killer (Salzburg). In addition, we will host a no holds barred ‘fire side’ chat with Pascal Mosimann (Toronto) on the psychology of a career in interventional neuroradiology.
Please keep the 6th and 7th November free as we look forward to hosting you once again in London, this time within the beautiful grounds of Lincolns Inn Fields at QuINS 2025.
Tufail, Shah, Prem & Anne.
